Intubation Error Killed Victim of Waffle House Shooting
According to the Tennessean Newspaper, a lawsuit was filed this week in Davidson County Court against Vanderbilt doctors by the mother of one of the Waffle House shooting victims stating that they, “placed the breathing tube in the victim’s esophagus” rather than the entrance to his lungs “leading directly and promptly to significant injury and death.” The suit claims that the hospital later destroyed x-rays that proved the mistake.
